The farmers in this area have pooled their coffee, resources, and knowledge together in an effort create the best coffee possible by forming a cooperative they called Kopakaki. After forming their coop, they joined a group of coops called Misozi to aid in the final processing and exportation of their coffee.

Altitude: 1525-2400m
Roast Level: Medium
Flavors: Medium-bodied with bright lime acidity, peach sweetness with a black tea finish
Certifications: Fair Trade Certified
Cupping Notes: 7/2022 - Bright lime acidity comes through nicely. Unlike some washed African coffees, this Rwanda has a good medium body to it, which makes it have a more black tea finish than a green tea finish like the washed Ethiopian coffees tend to have. This would make be a good single origin cold brew coffee
