According to the USDA Fair Trade, the majority of their Fair Trade Premium in a health program which includes a Private Rural Hospital for members and communities in the area.
Giving Back Connection : A percentage of sales will be given back to Gospel Life Global Missions. This organization is based in Hardin, KY but work in church-planting in southern Malawi. Giving Back: We have made contact with coffee growers in Sulawesi! A portion of all sales will go directly back to the Sulawesi Coffee Project. Project overseers, Barrett and Cliff have worked in Sulawesi for 9 years. They are now wanting to begin growing and exporting high quality coffee. Being faith-minded, they aim to reach out to the Sulawesian people to improve their livelihood and increase the quality of the coffee growing process.

Organic Nicaraguan Rio Coco Fair Trade
Origins: Madriz Region. San Juan del Rio Coco Cooperative. (Northern Nicaragua)

Varietal: Caturra, catimor and Catuai
Certifications: USDA Organic, Fair Trade (We are not a registered USDA partner but have organic papers from importer). Founded in 1978, this co-op now has 250 members. Becoming certified allowed the coop to access financial services, fund developments and export higher volumes and qualities of coffee. They are also able to invest in education programs for members, housing, improving on water sources and increased efforts on reforestation.
Flavors: Sweet chocolate notes and creamy mouthfeel almond finish. Very similar to El Salvador
Organic Colombia Sierra Nevada Fair Trade
Origins: Magdalena, Colombia (Northern Colombia) in the village of Minca. Finca Buena Vista is owned by Eneil Bayona, which has been in his family for many years.
Altitude: 1,167-1,423 meters
Process: Washed then sun dried on patios
Roast Level: Medium & Dark
Flavor Profile: Medium-bodied cup with milk-chocolate creamines, brown sugar sweetness and orange-like acidity. Compared to other regions of Colombia, this has a low acidity
Certifications: Fair Trade, USDA Organic, Bird-Friendly. Eneil is continually re-investing in production and improvement. He is heavily involved in the region and works with neighboring producers to pilot new planting programs and test new varietals.
Guatemala Huehuetenango SHP E/P
Origins: Huehuetenango, Guatemala . EP means European Processed, which means it is hand sorted until there are no more than 8 defects per 300 grams of green coffee.

Flavors: Clean, medium-bodied coffee with hints of milk chocolate and mild cherry. Moderate acidity.
2oz Ground Coffee Packet
Coffee is ground for a drip coffee maker. (No filters are included in this product) The coffee is packaged in a 2 oz Matte Foil Flat Pouch (6-3/4 inches x 4-5/8 inches). It is then heat sealed, with a tear notch at the top. Since this bag does not have a valve, all coffee will be roasted within 1-2 weeks from order date to allow proper coffee degassing process to occur.
Depending on the blend option selected, the label will differ (as pictured) . If a single origin is select, the origin farm information will vary throughout the year. When ordered, we will place a clear label on the origin information in the blank space on the universal label shown (brown label) or Guatemala label (as shown), Ethiopian label (not shown)
